Brother Thomas K C was born as the 5th son of Chacko and Mary in 1964 at kalady kaipatoor. He grew up suffering from birth defects and social Neglect. In 1980 Lions club of Cochin, got a booth for a telephone for the disabled and started a concert in front of the Ayurveda Hospital. He was very depressed and sad with Asthma and other ailments.
It was then that Brother Thomas stumbled across a page in the Word of God magazine and learned about the Petta Divine Meditation Center. After that, he was able to participate in meditation and learn about their activities. Brother Francis met and shared his God-given mission to help the poor and has been helping since then. Came to know about the Isolation ward known as Panambu ward 1993 in Eranakulam General Hospital and the patients who did not receive good treatment as there was no one to look after them.
From now on his care should be given to the poor and the patients in the isolation ward who have no one to help them Realizing that this was God’s commission to him, he told Brother Francis and the other Brothers that they all agreed and agreed in full. In the First phase, Brother Thomas and Francis joined Raphael, Martin, Joy, and Dullus to care for and help the sick. Later, patients from other wards were given daily meals.
In 1995 registered as a charitable trust and was elected the first secretary. Brother Raphael (President), Brother Stefen (Cashier), Brother Janson, and Brother Varghese also made members of the trust. As more and more members became interested the activities expanded to include more hospitals and activities such as giving study materials to students and giving Christmas Presents.
Around 2000 Brother Thomas began to have physical problems again. The chest was shortened and it seriously affected the heart. He was treated at various hospitals for two years but his condition did not change. But the fact that the work he started was a relief to many changed Thomas’s life’s hope. On February 10, 2002, he became seriously ill and Passed away.
The Divine Ministry that began with Brother Thomas continues to bring relief to the sick and orphans through other Brothers.

1980 ൽ ലയൻസ് ക്ലബ് ഓഫ് കൊച്ചിൻ്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ അംഗവൈകല്യമുള്ളവർക്ക് ടെലഫോൺ ബൂത്ത് നൽകുന്ന പക്തത്തിയിൽ വെച്ച് ഒരു ബൂത്ത് കിട്ടുകയും കചേരിപടിയിൽ ആയുർവേദ ആശുപത്രിയുടെ മുമ്പിൽ തുടങ്ങുവാനും ഇടയായി. ആസ്ത്മ, മറ്റു അസുഖങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് വളരെ നിരാശനും ദുഃഖിതനുമായിരുന്നു.
അങ്ങനെയിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ബ്രദർ തോമസ് യാദ്യശികമായി വചനോത്സവം മാസികയുടെ ഒരു താളു കാണുകയും അതിൽ നിന്നും പോട്ട ഡിവൈൻ ധ്യാന കേന്ദ്രത്തെ കുറിച്ച് അറിയുവാൻ ഇടയായി. അതിനു ശേഷം ധ്യാനത്തിന് പങ്കെടുക്കുവാനും അവരുടെ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെക്കുറിച് മനസിലാക്കുവാനും ഇടയായി. ബ്രദർ ഫ്രാൻസിസിനെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടുകയും തന്നിൽ ദൈവം തന്ന പാവങ്ങളെ സഹായിക്കാനുള്ള നിയോഗം പങ്കിടുകയും ചെയ്തു. അന്ന് മുതൽ തന്നാൽ കഴിയുന്ന പോലെ സഹായിക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി.
1993 ൽ എറണാകുളം ജനറൽ ഹോസ്പ്പിറ്റലിലെ പനമ്പ് വാർഡ് എന്ന് അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഐസലേഷൻ വാർഡിനെ ക്കുറിച്ചും അവിടത്തെ നോക്കാൻ ആരുമില്ലാത്തതും നല്ല ചികിത്സ ലഭിക്കാത്തതുമായ രോഗികളെ കുറിച്ച് അറിയാനിടയായത്. ഇനി മുതൽ തന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷ നൽകേണ്ടത് അഗതികളും സഹായിക്കാൻ ആരുമില്ലാത്തതുമായ ഐസലേഷൻ വാർഡിലെ രോഗികളാണെന്നും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തന്നിലുള്ള നിയോഗം ഇതാണെന്ന് മനസിലാക്കുകയും ബ്രദർ ഫ്രാൻസിസിനോടും മറ്റു സഹോദരന്മാരോടും പറയുകയും എല്ലാവരും ഒരേ സ്വരത്തോടെ അംഗികരിക്കയും പൂർണ്ണമായ സമ്മതം അറിയിക്കയും ചെയ്തു.
ആദ്യ ഘട്ടത്തിൽ രോഗികളെ ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കാനും സഹായിക്കാനും ബ്രദർ തോമസിനും ഫ്രാൻസിസിനും ഒപ്പം റാഫേൽ, മാർട്ടിൻ, ജോയി പിന്നെ ഡള്ളസ് എന്നിവരും ചേർന്നു. പിന്നീട് മറ്റു വാർഡുകളിലെ രോഗികൾക്ക് ദിവസവും ഭക്ഷണം നൽകാനും ആരംഭിച്ചു.
1995ൽ ചാരിറ്റി ട്രസ്റ്റായിട്ട് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്യുകയും ആദ്യത്തെ സെക്രട്ടറിയായിട്ട് തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു. ബ്രദർ റാഫേൽ (പ്രസിഡന്റ്), ബ്രദർ സ്റ്റീഫൻ (കാഷ്യർ), ബ്രദർ ജൻസണും ബ്രദർ വർഗീസും ട്രസ്റ്റി അംഗങ്ങളാക്കുകയും ചെയ്യതു. കൂടുതൽ അംഗങ്ങൾ കൂടി ശുശ്രൂഷയ്ക്ക് താൽപര്യത്തോടെ വന്നപ്പോൾ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ കൂടുതൽ ആശുപത്രിയിലേയ്ക്കും വിദ്യാർത്ഥികൾക്ക് പഠനചിലവും പഠനസാമഗ്രികൾ നൽക്കുക, ക്രിസ്തമസ് സമ്മാനം നൽക്കുക തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളിലേയ്ക്ക് വ്യാപിക്കുവാൻ ഇടയായി.
2000 ആണ്ടോടുകുടി ബ്രദർ തോമസിന് വീണ്ടും ശാരീരകമായി ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടുകൾ ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ തുടങ്ങി. നെഞ്ച് ചുരുങ്ങുകയും ഹ്യദയത്തിന് അത് സാരമായി ബാധിക്കയും ചെയ്യതു. രണ്ടു വർഷത്തോളം വിവിധ ആശുപത്രികളിൽ ചികിത്സ നേടുക ചെയ്യതുവെങ്കിലും രോഗാവസ്ഥയ്ക്ക് മാറ്റം ഒന്നും ഉണ്ടായില്ല. എന്നാൽ താൻ തുടങ്ങി വച്ച പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ അനേകർക്ക് ആശ്വാസമാകുന്നുവെന്നത് തോമസിന്റെ ജീവിതത്തെ പ്രത്യാശയുള്ളതാക്കി മാറ്റി. 2002 ഫെബ്രുവരി 10 ന് രോഗം മൂർചിക്കയും ഈ ലോകത്തെ വിട്ടു പിരിയുകയും ചെയ്തു.
ബ്രദർ തോമസിലൂടെ തുടങ്ങിയ ദൈവികമായ ശുശ്രൂഷ ഇപ്പോളും മറ്റു സഹോദരന്മാരിലൂടെ രോഗികൾക്ക് അനാഥർക്ക് ആശ്വാസമായി മാറി കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു
